After a period of speculation, the destination for Ireland’s Daniel ‘Grathen’ McGrath has finally been confirmed as Angry Titans announce that they have signed the DPS player to their main roster.
Grathen had been competing for Angry Titans in their academy section alongside fellow country-men Aaron ‘FlexG’ Kay and Liam ‘Liam’ O’Donnell before he announced his departure at the start of April.
It was unclear where the 16-year-old would end up signing when he announced that he would be leaving the Olympians roster, with many conclusions suggesting that he could be heading straight to Contenders. His promotion to the main roster will now see him competing in the Open Division Playoffs to earn a spot back in the Contenders Trials where the Titans will be hoping to earn a return to Overwatch’s EU Contenders circuit.
In a statement on Twitter, Grathen said that he can finally show the world the other half of his hero pool and that he was excited for the opportunity to learn more about the game and improve with the rest of his team.
The Titans also announced the signing of former Boston Uprising Flex Support Stanislav ‘Mistakes’ Danilov who will play alongside Grathen in the main roster.
Best of luck to Daniel and his new team.
