IEN are pleased to announce that the platform will be expanding our marketing campaign to include the sponsorship of a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster for this coming season.
The move comes as IEN hopes to raise brand awareness in the Irish Counter-Strike community as well as pursuing the opportunity to support an Irish-CS entity on their journey to climbing the ranks in UK and Europe.
The roster houses some familiar faces in the Irish scene including current OneTapLAN champion, Tim ‘ventake’ Falkner alongside another two Irish players in 16-year-old Sean ‘Atrox’ Greene and 17-year-old Patryk ‘cbS’ Karwecki with the line up being rounded out by Zac ‘Jonezy’ Jones and Connor ‘CoolComs’ Barnes from across the water.
The roster will compete under the tag ‘Team IEN’ in upcoming competitions and will make their debut in the ESEA Intermediate season next week with the target of reaching the league playoffs and securing a spot in the Main Division next season.
Ventake gave a statement regarding the sponsorship:
Myself and the lads are delighted to be playing under an Irish platform such as IEN. We hope that we can help the platform grow through our success and efforts this season.
